About Us

Steven Shangguan is a Credit Representative (CRN 560624) authorised under Finsure Finance & Insurance Pty Ltd, Australian Credit Licence 384704. Steven Finance provides mortgage broking support to clients across Australia.

Our Credit Services

We provide credit assistance in relation to residential owner-occupied loans, investment property loans, commercial loans, and refinance strategies. Our service includes understanding your goals, assessing borrowing options, comparing lenders, and helping you progress an application through to settlement.

Our Lender Panel

We have access to over 60 lenders through our aggregator Finsure. A full list is available on request.

Our lender panel may change from time to time as accreditation settings, product availability, and lender policies evolve.

How We Are Paid

In most cases, we receive an upfront commission and an ongoing trail commission from the lender when your loan settles and remains in place. We do not charge a fee directly to you unless a separate fee arrangement is disclosed to you in writing before you proceed.

Commission levels vary by lender and product, but a typical range is approximately 0.5% to 0.7% upfront and 0.15% to 0.20% trail. If a fee, referral arrangement, or commission adjustment applies to your transaction, we will disclose it clearly.

Responsible Lending

We assess your requirements and objectives, make reasonable inquiries about your financial situation, and take reasonable steps to verify the information you provide. We only recommend or assist with loans that are not unsuitable for you under responsible lending obligations.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact Steven Finance first by emailing steven@stevenfinance.com.au so we can try to resolve the issue internally as quickly as possible.

If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) on 1800 931 678, by email at info@afca.org.au, by mail at GPO Box 3, Melbourne VIC 3001, or online at afca.org.au. Finsure is an AFCA member, membership number 32237.
